The Challenge: Precision Touch-Ups on Concrete Surfaces
While this wasn’t a full repaint, touch-up work demands a sharp eye and meticulous prep to ensure new paint blends seamlessly with the existing surface. Adding to the complexity, the church walls were concrete, requiring the use of Sherwin-Williams Loxon concrete and masonry paint for proper adhesion and durability.
Our process included:
- Scraping and sanding minor imperfections along the baseline
- Spot priming as needed to ensure consistent coverage
- Masking and protecting adjacent surfaces before painting
- Painting railings and doors with durable, weather-resistant coatings
Paint Application & Materials Used
Once the prep was complete, our team:
- Applied one coat of Sherwin-Williams Loxon paint to the concrete wall touch-up areas
- Painted all railings with a high-durability enamel for weather protection
- Repainted doors with a fresh, even coat to improve both appearance and resistance to wear
Results
In just a short project window, we delivered a cleaner, sharper look to the church exterior. The freshly painted railings and doors, combined with seamless wall touch-ups, improved curb appeal while ensuring the building’s surfaces remain protected from Buffalo’s challenging weather.
