The Challenge: Cement Surfaces Require Special Prep
Cement surfaces are notoriously difficult to paint without the right preparation and coating system. For this project, our team:
- Power washed all walls to remove dirt, dust, and debris
- Inspected and addressed any cracks or imperfections in the cement
- Selected Sherwin-Williams Loxon Concrete & Masonry Paint for maximum adhesion and durability on rough textures
Two-Coat Application for Lasting Results
Once the surfaces were prepped, we:
- Applied the first coat to penetrate and bond with the cement
- Followed with a second coat to provide even coverage and long-term protection
- Painted all exterior metal doors with durable, weather-resistant coatings for a clean, polished look
Results
The finished warehouse looked brighter, cleaner, and well-protected, with uniform coverage across all surfaces. The fresh paint not only improved curb appeal but also enhanced the building’s resilience against Western New York’s weather conditions.
