In 2019, Thomas pursued an internship through his college Plymouth State that gave him the opportunity to run his own painting branch In Plymouth, NH. This internship forced him to step out of his comfort zone and taught him how to pivot on a day-to-day basis. He had to adapt to challenges that are essential to gain real-life experience in the business world. Thomas hired Elijah as a project manager during this internship. This needed to be someone who could be trusted and has a strong work ethic. After a successful summer, making a name for themselves in the internship, the following summer Thomas and Elijah decided to co-found Gould Painting (est 2020) and showcase their skills back in Buffalo. Now, after two seasons of running the company while still in school. Gould Painting can now run year-round entering their third year in Buffalo. Keeping the growth mindset, Gould Painting brought on another partner, Hunter in the Spring of 2022. With Hunter’s work ethic and entrepreneurial heart, we knew he would be a great asset. These three are excited to continue to grow Gould Painting and make Buffalo a brighter place one paint stroke at a time.
